MORE ABOUT MIA

From a young age Mia was exposed to radio and the media.  Her earliest recollection of radio is when her dad would pick her up from kindergarten and walk her to the studio where he would read for the Radio Reading Service, a volunteer service for the blind.  She distinctly recalls how quiet she had to be when the infamous “on air” light was on.  While a disk jockey and radio personality in the 70s her dad, Joe Suede, later went on to work in radio sales.

During high school years she found herself periodically operating the video camera and soundboard at her church.  Later she went on to own her own set of headphones and turntables as she embraced the art of DJing under the pseudonym Nikki Suede.  She also hosted her own show on local radio called “Cool Chick Radio” where she affectionately pinned herself as “the coolest chick in the Midwest”.

Mia is a well-rounded individual having received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a MBA from Xavier University of Ohio.  She is currently a member of Toastmasters International where she continues to develop her public speaking skills and is a current club officer.

This “cool chick” is a complimentary clash of corporate culture and individual creativity.  Her even toned Mid-western dialect is a universal sound that is in high demand.
